We are always delighted to feature and support our valued customers and Sue Jones, the founder of by Sadie and Jack is the perfect success story of how a chance event can turn into a great business.

We really enjoy working with her and love the personalised keepsake boxes she creates. Only a couple of weeks ago we were able to collaborate on a project where her positive ‘can do’ attitude and professionalism shone through.

We were approached by Ipswich FC to provide personalised keepsake boxes for an evening event in loving memory of Kevin Beattie, who sadly passed away in September 2018. Beattie had been called Ipswich Town's best ever player by many pundits and polls. Former Ipswich (and later England) manager Bobby Robson called him the best England player he had seen. He also featured in the film Escape to Victory alongside many of his Ipswich team mates.

In need of someone to personalise the boxes at short notice, Sue was the perfect choice and had no hesitation in stepping in. The boxes look great and we are in no doubt will be the greatly appreciated finishing touch to the evening. We really look forward to seeing Sue go from strength to strength and enjoy continued growth and success.

So let’s hear from Sue in her own words…

Hi, I’m Sue: owner and creator at by Sadie and Jack and passionate about creating wedding accessories and personalised gifts to help you celebrate life's special events, whatever the occasion!  My business started when, after struggling to find a unique gift for my friend's son's first birthday, I decided to hand make his present myself! My friend loved it and interest soon spread beyond my close circle of friends and so 'by Sadie and Jack' was born!

I fell in love withFoldabox boxes last summer and they’ve since become an integral part of my business.  My range has expanded to include boxes for bridal party gifts, memories and keepsakes, Christenings, new babies and special birthdays for the whole family.  I love the versatility of the Foldabox range – the variety of colours and styles means there really is something suitable for every occasion; my particular favourites being the square boxes with changeable ribbon ties that give such a luxurious finishing touch!  Foldabox is my preferred supplier, not only because of their high quality products and quick delivery, but also their exceptional customer service. Any questions I have are always answered quickly and everyone in the team is genuinely friendly and extremely helpful indeed!

The most popular colour amongst my brides is currentlynavy blue, closely followed bywhite, rose gold andpale pink for those all important, “Will you be my bridesmaid?” proposal boxes… and what better way to ask your nearest and dearest to be part of your special day?!

Take a look at Sue’s website, we’re sure you’ll agree the boxes look wonderful!

Sustainable packaging that customers want to keep: How eco-friendly gift boxes reduce waste

Sustainability is no longer a secondary consideration for brands. It is something customers expect to see, understand and experience the moment they receive a product. Packaging plays a central role in that experience. It is often the first physical interaction a customer has with a brand and increasingly, it is where values are judged. However, eco-friendly packaging does not need to feel basic or compromised. In fact, the most effective sustainable packaging is not just recyclable, but designed to be kept.

Why we’re seeing more green in packaging this year

A few years ago, green packaging was largely associated with sustainability. If a brand used green, consumers often assumed it was making an environmental statement. While that connection still exists, the rise of green in packaging today is being driven by something much broader.
