Ordering a sample allows you to see the colour and surface finish under your own lighting and assess how it complements your products, branding and other packaging components before committing to a bulk order.
Check Product Fit Before Ordering
Use your sample to test your products inside the A5 Deep format and assess the usable internal space before purchasing bulk quantities. You can also experiment with product positioning and determine how much additional room is required for tissue paper, protective packing, inserts or decorative presentation.
If you intend to manufacture custom inserts, belly bands or other fitted components, we recommend using a sample to assess approximate fit during the development process. As our gift boxes are handmade, normal manufacturing tolerances apply. Where precise fit is essential, we recommend having your final bulk boxes in hand before manufacturing fitted components.

- Purchase a sample to assess the finish, construction, size and product fit before ordering in bulk
- Samples are supplied from the same stock as our bulk Naked Grey® Gift Boxes but may originate from a different production batch
- If exact batch matching is important, please contact us before placing your bulk order
- Samples cannot be custom printed or personalised
- Samples are supplied flat packed and wrapped in protective corrugated board to help prevent transit damage
- A swatch card showing our gift box colours can be added to your order at checkout
Sample Price Includes Delivery
The price shown for an individual sample includes the sample box, picking, packing and courier delivery cost. This allows you to order a single sample without an additional standard delivery charge being added at checkout.
Ordering three or more samples? Multiple samples can usually be combined into a single package, reducing the overall courier cost. Please contact us before ordering three or more samples so we can apply an appropriate discount to reflect the combined delivery charge.
Sample Dispatch & Delivery
- Orders received before 1:30pm are normally dispatched the same working day
- Dispatch takes place Monday–Friday only, excluding Bank Holidays
- Multiple samples will be combined into a single package where possible
- Samples are sent using a trackable, signed-for courier service
- Please ensure someone is available to accept delivery
- Samples are dispatched on a next-working-day service, but delivery is not guaranteed; please allow 1–2 working days
