Wholesale Packaging Colour Trends 2018

For 2018, Metallics are going to be huge, and hotter-than-hot. The recent fashion weeks have shown us models strutting their stuff, draped in silver from head to toe, and this metallic mania is spilling over into hair. We’re talking high-shine, chrome-effect hair and of course, grey in all its shades from bright silver to dark charcoal, will still be hugely popular. Copper and rose gold are warming up wedding venues across the globe with acrylic, lucite and geometric décor taking hold. The light, airy pastels within the rustic venue are being replaced by deep hues, metal and classical elements.

We’ve been in love with these metal colours for years and have been dying to add it to theFoldaBox collection. Metal accent colours are definitely the trend for 2018 and we are delighted to offer this unique, rich and luxurious colours to help keep yourgift packaging contemporary.

Copper creates an image of warmth and chic
Copper is a wonderful metal for interior decorating. Copper lighting fixtures, home decorations and paint colours blend orange and pink colour hues and can be easily matched with existing interior design and decorating. Warm and soft copper works well with neutral colours and all warm and cold room colours. Metal objects, wall decorations, room furniture and small accents made of copper add elegant shine, warmth and luxury to any interior design.

Stylists and wedding planners have named metallics the next wedding colour trend for 2018. Polished copper can look glamorous and elegant, but matte or aged copper accents lend a rustic or vintage feel. Our range ofcopper packaging boxes would work perfectly for wedding favours, gifts for the wedding party and keepsake boxes. While the bohemian feeling of past wedding trends hasn’t completely slipped away, it’s been emboldened by more striking colours and illuminated with metallics. There is more of a modern, industrial feeling which is being softened by warm lighting and vintage elements.

Sultry pewter for the added touch of mystery
Newpewter is a fantastic addition to our new Metal Elements colour collection. A very dark charcoal, almost black but not as harsh. Using our signature pearl lustre paper it will definitely bring that touch of flair and class to your gift product packaging. Perfect for the 2018 wedding trend of black and white but pewter also combines beautifully with any alternative ribbon colour. This ageless metal is timeless and we have seen how the colour has evolutionized through the years. It is perfect for anything that requires a little touch of extra; jewellery, wedding, corporate gifting...anything!

Luxury bronze for elegance and class
Why have boring brown when you can have beautiful bronze? Bronze is a mixture of copper and tin. It belongs to the family of browns, and it is a colour of associated with maturity and earthiness. Similar to the colour psychology of brown, the colour exudes the aura of nature and ideas of experience, growth, strength and security. It symbolises earthly riches and comfort, which invokes an intimate response in the consumer. The use of ourbronze packaging collection signifies grandeur and sophisticated style.

Luxury packaging designs often incorporate metallic embellishments in their packaging. They are often associated with the elements’ value in the market but the influence these colours have on the consumer goes further than that. We believe in the power ofpremium packaging. Here atFoldaBox, we encourage you to have fun, be bold and brave with your packaging - you never get a second chance to make a first impression!

The name “garnet” originates from the medieval Latin granatus, meaning “pomegranate,” in reference to the similarity of the red color and intricate appearance. Necklaces adorned with red garnets graced the pharaohs of ancient Egypt. Signet rings in ancient Rome featured garnet intaglios that were used to stamp the wax that private and secured important documents.
