Spring is in the air! It’s time to say hello to the sunshine and start planning those wonderful, warm and colourful weddings. We adore the springtime. The flowers blooming and the magic of new beginnings are all around. Spring 2022 is an exciting time because with things returning to normal, there any many weddings set to take place. We don’t know about you, what we feel there’s a lot of missed time to make up for in the wedding industry. This spring, we are seeing some unique colour palettes and wedding gifting trends. With couples spending more time outside during the pandemic, a newfound appreciation of nature will likely infiltrate wedding decor and gifting. Appreciation for the ‘wedding tribe’ is also a favoured trend for weddings being held in 2022.

Wedding party gift hampers

A relatively new yet very popular trend is personalised bridesmaid and groomsmen hampers. These gift hampers are used to show a token of appreciation for the bridal party.  These hampers can be gifted to the groomsmen and bridesmaids when asked to be a part of the wedding or just as a practical gift that can be used on the day of the wedding. Most of our clients, who use luxury folding gift boxes from Foldabox for their wedding hampers, personalise the lids with something special too. The gift hampers are then filled with special, sentimental and useful items like matching groomsmen socks, cigars, artisan treats, personalised jewellery, photos, a small bottle of liquor or bubbly etc.

Spring colour trends

Thinking about the environmental impact your wedding can have is one main reason couples decide to plan an eco-friendly wedding. If your bride and groom are environmentally conscious, you will be glad to know that traditional whites and pastels are being replaced by earthy hues, natural colours and textures. If this is the trend your clients are going for, we encourage you to look at the following products:

Vibrant and bold colours are also becoming popular. Trend forecasters predict that vibrant pink-purples, earthy olive greens, creamy yellows, tropical oranges, and ocean blues and coral tones will be all the rage.

Accessorising boxes with ribbons and closures

If you would like to keep it simple with the boxes but introduce colour by utilising gemstone closures and ribbons, here are some of our suggestions:

Current wedding trends are always evolving and emerging so this season is no different. From hosting small intimate weddings to non-traditional wedding parties we are seeing some major new wedding trends on the horizon. Whatever your clients choose to opt for, it is important that it remains authentic and meaningful.
