This is where you can buy a single or multiple samples of a Black A6 Shallow Gift Box.

Black matt laminated finish throughout.
Fold flat construction assembles instantly to a high quality and completely rigid gift box.
Concealed magnetic full depth front flap closure.
Discrete black ribbon tab loop to easily identify the opening edge of the assembled box.
Samples cannot be printed.
Samples are the same as bulk stock but may be from a different batch. If you plan to add your own insert, or your product contents are exact, please be aware of possible manufacturing tolerances.
Contact us prior to ordering bulk if batch matching is important.

1200g recycled greyboard (approx. 2.7mm thickness)
Covered fully inside and outside with 157gsm art paper flood printed black and with matte lamination.
Full depth front flap with 2 x concealed magnetic closures.
4 x sticky corners per box with easy-peel release paper coverings.
2.5cm x 1cm black grosgrain ribbon tab loop affixed on front bottom edge of closing flap.
Boxes are handmade and as a result dimensions may have a +/- 3mm tolerance.

Please DO NOT order boxes on line by adding to your basket and paying for them if you want a custom printed logo. Buying boxes on line is for plain unbranded stock only. If you order on-line, the boxes will be despatched without print and it may be too late to stop them if you e-mail us separately asking for print.

Adding a logo enables you to personalise stock gift boxes without the large volume commitment and long lead time needed for a fully made to order box.
24 boxes per size is the minimum and 144 boxes or more (boxes are all packed in 12's) is the most economic quantity due to fixed origination costs that apply, no matter how few or how many boxes are printed.
Printing is offered on all gift boxes available from stock. Mailing cartons cannot be printed.
Stock boxes are already manufactured, so printing options are limited to the outside and inside lid of the box only.
We can use foil, print ink to match a Pantone colour, or deboss your logo. Multiple print colours and CMYK print are also possible depending on registration, design complexity and box colour.
We can’t bleed print off the edges of the box, we need a min. 1cm - 2cm border from the outer edge of the print to the edges of the box lid.
Allow around 2-3 weeks for custom printing from receipt of useable artwork and payment to delivery of printed boxes. If you submit an on-line quotation via the estimate form on our printing page you will have the opportunity to specify the delivery date you would ideally like.

Foldabox gift boxes are crafted with sustainability in mind, using materials that are approximately 92% recycled by weight.

The greyboard (the rigid inner board that forms the box structure) is 100% recycled and certified.

The artpaper used on our Black, White, Pale Pink, and Pale Blue boxes, as well as the special papers used for other colours, are certified sustainable.

Our Natural Kraft Gift Boxes use kraft paper that is 60% recycled. Due to material limitations, 100% recycled kraft paper cannot be used as it tends to crack along the joints.

The paper used on our Black, White, Pale Pink, and Pale Blue boxes is finished with a matt PP lamination, which should ideally be removed before recycling.

Note: Our Black and White Single and Double Bottle Boxes, and Black and White No Magnet Boxes are unlaminated, requiring no paper removal prior to recycling - only the ribbon on slot-closure versions should be removed.

We recommend removing magnets, ribbons, and decorative closures before recycling. While ribbons are technically recyclable, we encourage reusing or donating them where possible.

If you would like to order larger numbers of sample gift boxes (3 or more total) please contact support@foldabox.co.uk with the details of your requirements so we can give you a discount code to save on the courier cost for a combined delivery.
You must advise the Sku number or product description of the item/s you require, how many of each and the delivery address so we can provide the relevant discount code.

Samples are dispatched the same day as ordered if we receive your order via our website before 1:30pm. Orders are dispatched Monday – Friday only.
Orders placed after 1.30pm, during a weekend or national holiday will be dispatched the next working day.
Sample ribbons, decorative closures and accessories are designed to be ordered together with gift box samples. If you order accessories only they will be despatched via Royal Mail post and could take 3-5 days to deliver.
Sample gift boxes or boxes combined with accessory items are dispatched via a signed-for courier service. Please ensure someone is available to take receipt of the package or delivery could be delayed.
Allow 1 – 2 working days for delivery.
Multiple samples will be combined together in a single package.
A swatch card showing all available box colours can be added to your order at checkout.
Samples are supplied flat packed and wrapped in a sheet of corrugated board or a mailing carton to protect from transit damage.
The sample box cost includes the sample, picking, packing and delivery cost.
