One of our most popular colours and sizes, the Black A5 Deep combines a versatile rigid gift box format with a sophisticated anti-scratch matt black finish, concealed magnetic closure and removable grosgrain ribbon. The changeable ribbon makes this an exceptionally flexible stock packaging solution for businesses wanting to coordinate the box with their own brand colours, product ranges or campaigns.

The combination of a deep A5 format and understated black finish makes this one of our most versatile luxury gift boxes. It provides a strong base for different brand identities and product categories, while the removable ribbon allows businesses to adapt the presentation without changing the box itself.

The box is covered fully inside and outside with black flood-printed art paper and finished with anti-scratch matt lamination. This provides the sophisticated appearance of matt black packaging while helping to reduce the visible scuffs, fingerprints and handling marks that can be particularly noticeable on dark matt surfaces.
The durable finish makes this box particularly well suited to retail, e-commerce, fulfilment, corporate gifting and branded packaging applications where presentation quality needs to be maintained throughout handling and delivery.
Each box is supplied with an 80cm x 2.5cm black polyester grosgrain ribbon, pre-threaded through a slot in the box body and front closure flap. The ribbon is not permanently attached and can be easily removed and replaced.
This allows businesses to use the same Black A5 Deep Gift Box across different brands, product collections and campaigns simply by changing the ribbon colour. A contrasting ribbon can introduce a corporate or brand colour, differentiate individual product ranges or adapt stock packaging for promotional and seasonal collections.
Alternative ribbon colours and decorative closures can be purchased separately, providing a simple way to customise the presentation of a stock luxury gift box without bespoke manufacture.
The Black A5 Deep is manufactured from substantial 1200g recycled greyboard and supplied flat for efficient storage and transport. Its folding construction assembles quickly into a completely rigid presentation box.
A 5cm deep front flap incorporates two concealed magnetic closures, providing a secure snap-shut closure while maintaining the streamlined exterior of the box. Four adhesive corner tabs secure the box in its assembled form.
