This is a seriously spacious gift box, designed for larger products and generous multi-item presentations where a standard gift carton simply isn't big enough. The dramatic black finish makes it particularly suited to luxury gift hampers, corporate gifting, clothing, homeware, large candles, premium food and drink collections and high-value retail presentation.
Manufactured from substantial 540gsm dye-through kraft board, the XL Cube SoftBox® offers impressive capacity without the weight and storage requirements of an equivalent rigid paper-over-board gift box. Its folding construction combines an interlocking slot-lock base, overlapping lid and removable ribbon closure.

The XL Cube SoftBox® is manufactured from 540gsm dye-through kraft board, approximately 0.66mm / 660 micron thick. The black colour runs through the board rather than being created by applying a separate decorative paper covering.
There is no lamination, giving the carton a contemporary matt paperboard finish. Used with its matching black ribbon, the result is striking and minimalist; alternatively, changing the ribbon provides an easy way to introduce corporate, seasonal or campaign colours.
Black also provides an excellent backdrop for brightly coloured tissue paper and presentation accessories, making this substantial carton particularly adaptable for branded hamper and gifting programmes.
The XL Cube SoftBox® features a manually assembled interlocking slot-lock base. The base panels fold and engage securely with one another when the carton is erected, creating a sturdy foundation for the box.
This is not an automatic crash-lock construction. The base is not pre-glued or designed to automatically open into position; instead, the panels are manually folded and locked together during assembly.
The carton can therefore be supplied flat, an especially useful advantage with an extra large gift box where storage space can otherwise become significant.
Each Black XL Cube is supplied with a generous 80cm x 2.5cm black polyester grosgrain ribbon. The ribbon threads through three narrow slots in the overlapping lid and is not permanently attached to the carton.
Keep the matching black ribbon for a sophisticated monochrome presentation or replace it with a contrasting colour to coordinate with your brand, products, event or gifting campaign.
