Materials, Finish and Construction

  • Luxurious red matt pearl lustre finish throughout.
  • No lamination.
  • Closest Pantone match 7427C.
  • Fold-flat construction that assembles instantly to a rigid, luxury-quality gift box.
  • Concealed magnetic snap shut front flap closure.
  • Supplied complete with a length of 80cm x 2.5cm width matching red grosgrain ribbon.
  • The ribbon feeds neatly through a narrow slot in the front of the box body and closure flap for added decoration and closure security.
  • The ribbon is not permanently fixed, allowing you to change ribbon colours or add decorative closures.

Optional Finishing Touches and Custom Branding

  • Additional Ribbons and Decorative Accessories can be purchased separately.
  • Luxury Tissue Paper available to match or complement this gift box.
  • Photo Frames offer a stylish way to add a logo, promotional message or photograph to the inside or outside box lid.

Box Dimensions

We provide both internal and external dimensions so you can confidently check product fit before ordering.

Useful Tip: Cut a piece of paper to the internal footprint size of 20.5cm × 22cm to test product fit. This works well for rigid items such as bottles, or fold soft items and use a ruler to check the required internal height of 6cm.

Full Material Specifications

  • 1200g recycled AAA grade greyboard (approx. 2.7mm thickness)
  • Covered fully inside and outside with 120gsm red pearl finish paper.
  • No lamination.
  • 3cm depth front flap with 2 x concealed magnetic closures.
  • 4 x sticky corners per box with easy-peel release paper coverings.
  • 80cm length x 2.5cm width red polyester grosgrain ribbon pre-threaded through box body slot. Ribbon can be easily removed and replaced.
  • Boxes are handmade and as a result dimensions may have a +/- 3mm tolerance.
  • Do not manufacture additional accessories such as inserts or band wrappers without buying a sample to allow for size tolerance and ideally ensure you are in receipt of the bulk.

Useful Branding Information for Adding Your Logo to Stock Gift Boxes

  • DO NOT order boxes online by adding them to your basket and paying if you want a custom printed logo. Online orders are for plain, unbranded stock boxes only.
  • Visit our Printing Page for example print images and detailed information on the various print techniques available.
  • Complete the simple on-line print estimate for a quick price guide. Follow the easy steps to submit your details and progress an order.
  • 24 boxes per size is the minimum order for printing. Orders of 144 boxes or more (boxes are packed in 12s) are the most economical due to fixed origination costs, regardless of quantity.
  • Printing is offered on all gift boxes available from stock. Mailing cartons cannot be printed.
  • Allow approximately 1–3 weeks for custom printing from receipt of usable artwork and payment to delivery of printed boxes.

Useful Delivery Information:

  • Orders placed online before 1.30pm Monday – Friday are dispatched the same day.
  • Orders received after 1.30pm, on weekends, or national holidays will be dispatched the next working day.
  • Accessory only orders may be sent by Royal Mail and take longer.
  • Delivery costs are weight-based and will be shown once all items are added to your basket.
  • Delivery is via signed-for courier, usually FedEx or DHL, ensuring safe and trackable delivery.
  • We cannot accept liability for delays beyond our control.

  • Notify us of any damages or defects within 3 days of delivery.

Can I Return My Order?

  • Yes, unopened gift boxes and accessories in their original inner and outer packaging can be returned within 30 days from delivery.

Do You Offer Discounts?

  • Yes, we offer discounts based on the total net value of your order, excluding carriage and VAT.
  • If you spend £450.00 or more, enter the discount code bigorderdiscount at checkout and 5% will be deducted automatically from your box order value.
  • If you spend £700.00 or more, enter the discount code reallybigorderdiscount at checkout and 10% will be deducted automatically from your box order value.

Do You Offer Charity Discounts?

  • We offer an automatic 10% discount to charities, hospitals and non-profits irrespective of order value.
  • Contact Support@foldabox.co.uk for a discount code to use at checkout. Please confirm your registered charity number or website details.

General Discount Information

  • We sell B2B. Prices on our website are wholesale trade prices.
  • Discounts apply to plain stock boxes ordered via the website.
  • Order value discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other special price offers or promotions.
  • Bulk order value discounts cannot be combined with a 10% charity discount or any other targeted discount offer. Our website only allows one discount code to be used per order.
  • Unclaimed discounts cannot be issued retrospectively.

Useful Sample Information for All Gift Boxes

  • You can purchase individual or multiple samples of any gift box or mailing carton directly from our website.
  • Samples are not available for accessory items such as ribbons, tissue paper and wax seals.
  • Samples are identical to bulk stock but may occasionally come from a different batch. See our Help Desk FAQ's for more information.
  • We always recommend ordering a gift box sample before bulk purchase to ensure the colour, size, and quality meet your expectations.
  • If you order the wrong size or colour, return courier costs are not covered by us.
  • Click the ‘Buy Sample’ pink button on any individual Gift Box or Mailing Carton Product Page, or select ‘Samples’ from the main navigation menu.
  • The individual sample price includes the item, picking, packing, and courier cost.
  • If you need three or more different samples, contact us for a discount code to reduce combined courier costs. Please specify the box names, quantities, and your delivery address.

  • Multi‑sample discounts cannot be applied retrospectively.
