These Black A5 Deep Folding Luxury Gift Boxes offer a combination of elegance, practicality, and eco-conscious design. Ideal for premium presentation of beauty products, gourmet treats, small electronics, artisan gifts, and corporate giveaways.

Full Product Specifications

All our gift boxes use AAA grade recycled greyboard at their core and high quality paper covering.

  • 1200g recycled greyboard (approx. 2.7mm thickness)
  • Covered fully inside and outside with 150gsm black dye-through kraft paper and with protective matt varnish.
  • Full depth front flap with secure locking tab.
  • No magnets.
  • No sticky corners.
  • Double folding inner flaps front and back to keep the box assembled. 
  • Box can be unassembled again.
  • No ribbon.
  • Boxes are handmade and as a result dimensions may have a +/- 3mm tolerance.
  • Do not manufacture additional accessories such as inserts or band wrappers without buying a sample to allow for size tolerance and ideally ensure you are in receipt of the bulk.   

How Are They Packed?

High quality double-walled inner and outer cartons avoid transit damage. The below information is useful if you plan onward delivery. 

  • Flat packed in an individual printed clear 100% recycled and recyclable LDPE polybag with airholes.
  • Flat Size: 35.5cm x 24cm x 1cm
  • Individual Box Weight: 380 grams
  • 12pcs per double-walled inner carton.
  • Inner Carton Size: 37cm x 18cm x 27cm
  • Inner Carton Weight: 5.1 kgs
  • 36pcs (3 inners) per double-walled outer carton.
  • Outer Carton Size: 54.5cm x 30cm x 39.5cm
  • Outer Carton Weight: 15.3 kgs
  • Pallet Quantity: 864pcs based on 1m x 1.2m x 1.8m stack height.

Useful Branding Information for Adding Your Logo to Stock Gift Boxes

  • DO NOT order boxes online by adding them to your basket and paying if you want a custom printed logo. Online orders are for plain, unbranded stock boxes only.
  • Visit our Printing Page for example print images and detailed information on the various print techniques available.
  • Complete the simple on-line print estimate for a quick price guide. Follow the easy steps to submit your details and progress an order.
  • 24 boxes per size is the minimum order for printing. Orders of 144 boxes or more (boxes are packed in 12s) are the most economical due to fixed origination costs, regardless of quantity.
  • Printing is offered on all gift boxes available from stock. Mailing cartons cannot be printed.
  • Allow approximately 1–3 weeks for custom printing from receipt of usable artwork and payment to delivery of printed boxes.

Useful Delivery Information:

  • Orders placed online before 1.30pm Monday – Friday are dispatched the same day.
  • Orders received after 1.30pm, on weekends, or national holidays will be dispatched the next working day.
  • Accessory only orders may be sent by Royal Mail and take longer.
  • Delivery costs are weight-based and will be shown once all items are added to your basket.
  • Delivery is via signed-for courier, usually FedEx or DHL, ensuring safe and trackable delivery.
  • We cannot accept liability for delays beyond our control.

  • Yes, unopened gift boxes in their original inner and outer packaging can be returned within 30 days from delivery.

Do You Offer Discounts?

  • Yes, we offer discounts based on the total net value of your order, excluding carriage and VAT.
  • If you spend £450.00 or more, enter the discount code bigorderdiscount at checkout and 5% will be deducted automatically from your box order value.
  • If you spend £700.00 or more, enter the discount code reallybigorderdiscount at checkout and 10% will be deducted automatically from your box order value.

Do You Offer Charity Discounts?

  • We offer an automatic 10% discount to charities, hospitals and non-profits irrespective of order value.
  • Contact Support@foldabox.co.uk for a discount code to use at checkout. Please confirm your registered charity number or website details.

General Discount Information

  • We sell B2B. Prices on our website are wholesale trade prices.
  • Discounts apply to plain stock boxes ordered via the website.
  • Order value discounts cannot be used in conjunction with any other special price offers or promotions.
  • Bulk order value discounts cannot be combined with a 10% charity discount or any other targeted discount offer. Our website only allows one discount code to be used per order.
  • Unclaimed discounts cannot be issued retrospectively.

Useful Sample Information for All Gift Boxes

  • You can purchase individual or multiple samples of any gift box or mailing carton directly from our website.
  • Samples are not available for accessory items such as ribbons, tissue paper and wax seals.
  • Samples are identical to bulk stock but may occasionally come from a different batch. See our Help Desk FAQ's for more information.
  • We always recommend ordering a gift box sample before bulk purchase to ensure the colour, size, and quality meet your expectations.
  • If you order the wrong size or colour, return courier costs are not covered by us.
  • Click the ‘Buy Sample’ pink button on any individual Gift Box or Mailing Carton Product Page, or select ‘Samples’ from the main navigation menu.
  • The individual sample price includes the item, picking, packing, and courier cost.
  • If you need three or more different samples, contact us for a discount code to reduce combined courier costs. Please specify the box names, quantities, and your delivery address.

  • Multi‑sample discounts cannot be applied retrospectively.
